A USB-Parallel Bridge driver is a piece of software that enables communication between a computer's USB port and a parallel port device (such as older printers, scanners, or other hardware that rely on parallel port connectivity). Many modern computers no longer have native parallel ports (also known as LPT ports), so a USB-to-parallel adapter (also called a USB-Parallel Bridge) is used to provide a solution for connecting parallel port devices through a USB connection.
The USB-Parallel Bridge Windows driver allows the operating system (Windows, in this case) to recognize and interact with a USB-to-parallel converter device, enabling proper data transmission between the computer and the parallel device.
